Jordan and I are currently living on different continents. It really is unfortunate. He is on his first 9 month deployment with the Army and I moved home to live with my family. I miss him a lot and I often complain that Im bored without him. Lets be honest, my husband is really funny and I miss his sense of humor. Anyways, hes sweet and always likes to give me ideas of things to do. I usually shoot down most of them but he has really been bugging me to update the blog. So enjoy this cute picture and see what we have been up to this summer!

Jordan graduated in Biology from BYU this April. It was a crazy time. I was working and going to school and Jordan was student teaching at Provo High School. He loved it! He is so great with kids and all his students loved him! As school was finishing up we also were packing and moving out of our apartment getting ready to move home. After he graduated we went to Las Vegas and Disneyland as a celebration for graduating! We were lucky enough to actually go to Disneyland twice this summer :) We also went with Jordans family!

Then we moved out to California and had some fun with family! Jordan was home for about two weeks and then left for training again in Utah. He trained in Utah for a month and then was sent to El Paso. I had the pleasure of visiting the ugliest city in the world (El Paso) for one last visit before he was shipped off. It was so great to see him before he left. He has been gone for one month, so we are 1/9th of the way there! We get to skype each week which is really great. I am working and starting classes online. AND Kyle and JD are home! It is so fun having all my brothers here! I am ready for winter and the holidays/new year so that I can start the countdown for his homecoming :)

You are the best thing thats ever been mine

I have been trying to do a post about our wedding for a few months now but whenever I try to add pictures it freezes on me! Bummer, but I was able to get one picture this time. We have been married for almost 6 months now! I cant believe how fast it has gone. I love being married and I love my husband. We got back from honeymoon a few weeks ago and had a really great time! I love the beach and I love cruises :)

Snickerdoodles

A couple weeks ago Jordan wanted me to make cookies so I decided I would make snickerdoodles! I looked up a recipe on betty crocker and went to the store to buy a few ingredients! I forgot to flatten the first batch of cookies and needless to say..they burned. The rest turned out great :) but for some reason the next day they were super hard! I dont even know what happened! So it also happened to be the sunday that our ward was having a dessert party and asked everyone to bring a dessert. Jordan decided that we should bring the snickerdoodles to contribute something even if no one ate them haha. I was too embarassed to bring hard cookies to a dessert party. haha I made Jordan carry them and I forbid him to tell anyone I made them. So, we were sitting there talking to one of Jordans friends from his last ward. He also happened to get married over the summer and ended up being in our ward! He went to get some desserts and when he came back I was a little worried when I saw he had a snickerdoodle on his plate! He took a bite and laughed and said these looked a lot softer! We all laughed, and this girl near us happened to get up at the same time and walk away and Jordans friend felt bad and said "oh no I hope she didnt make those cookies" haha I started laughing until I had tears coming out of my eyes! I then admitted that I made them and he felt really bad! I thought it was really funny though and told him they were good and for some reason the next day they were incredibly hard! Anyone know of a good snickerdoodle recipe? I am determined to try again haha!

3 weeks

I can't believe I am getting married in three weeks! I always thought that I would get married younger, but never at 20! I guess life is full of surprises :) and I cant wait for what lies ahead! J is once again at Drill for the weekend and I get to spend another weekend in the library by myself..at least I am getting a lot of studying done! I only have a week and half of school left and then I get to head back to Sacramento and play with family and get married! The wedding is slowly coming together, we finally ordered a tux and found something for the groomsmen to wear haha its been an adventure. J sure does love to make sure everything matches! Dont worry, he claims hes not gay :) haha just kidding love! I have loved that he has been so willing to help me make plans and pick things out. I have made him sit through hours of talking about plates and silverware and pillows haha. This week has been a lot of fun. We played tennis, went on picnics, had dinner with Chelsea, went to ice cream, played games and planned a wedding! And ate lots of cupcakes of course, seriously I could tell you every flavor, what its made out of and if its good or not. J and I are pros, they should probably think about hiring us. Oh and did I mention that we planned our honeymoon! Im real excited about it, we are going to the Caribbean! Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belieze, and Cozumel to be exact. And I cant even wait to go swimming with dolphins!! Well I should probably get back to studying! 

TARGET, your it!

J is gone at his annual training..today he got to come home for two hours to pack and get ready for their night operations. He told me how he is really excited because he gets to play the opposition force and he says its just like role playing..I miss him a lot though! It has given me a lot of free time to study though and get wedding stuff done! I cant believe is only 6 weeks away! I cant wait, but I still feel like there is a lot to do before then! Last night when J got home we went to Target to register for our wedding. He was really excited about holding the "gun" haha he also decided it would be really fun to put unicorns and action figures on our registry list! I miss my family a lot! I cant wait to go home next month! And I still love love love cup cakes! We seriously go every week :) 

Turns out

Its Taco Tuesday and I have no one here to go with me! Kait and Jos are in GERMANY! I really miss them! And J is at a two week training for the Army. I guess I kind of miss him too :) haha a lot! So I am left to study for my statistics exam. I needed a break though so I started looking at our engagement pictures. I really love J's face here! He was really funny, he didnt know what to do! I wish I had a copy of the one we are going to use but I dont..I guess you will just have to wait and see! 

I REALLY miss these girls!! I hope you are having a blast in Germany and come home soon!
